The Blunt Corner

The Amitabh Bachchan starrer short 3 minute video clip released by a YouTube channel Blush just got aired and in no time it starts to drill sense.

The word WOMAN encompasses the word MAN yet she is considered the weaker sex. Patriarch mindsets find their way from each available crack in the world and start to babble out things.
A normal cool guy who believes in the idea 'One can wear anything provided the person is comfortable in it'
 *well applauds to this*
But the same kind of thinking stops to take birth when a woman wears shorts or one pieces upto the mid-thighs. And after this things which can be are mouths drooling and tongues wagging and nagging. Uncanny stares, even whistles provide a lower ground of shame.

Men are thought to be stronger, better, buffed up in every way possible. But all this strength and all those buffed up muscles begin to slacken when there girl friend or their better half wants him to pick her shopping bags or help her cook food or in daily household chores.
Men have perfect excuses in their minds 'log kya kahenge'.  Oye if ur better half loves you she knows you are her support not a hangar.
A women who is badass would pass you bullets standing beside you even if the whole world is against her man. And if you can't help her or if it hurts your hollow male ego to do it sorry sir you are ruined.

Yahi baat agar ek female bole toh feminist Aur ek male bole toh He is seen as an activist and not as a person who just wants to give an opinion.
*Slow claps with the face in between*

Men have the whole charge of money in a normal Indian house, not a penny moves idhar se udhar without the male noticing it.
If you are so interested in money why marry if your primary objective was only the dowry collected.
If we males hold ourselves so high headed why ask for dowry.
Its like bridegrooms are being fixed a particular rate. Or the bride's father is disposing off his hard earned and saved money to her *able* would be husband as protection money for his daughter. Due to demand for dowry a marriage becomes an IPL auction that goes in full swing for a prospective groom.

Be it schools, colleges or behind the confines of air conditioned rooms of corporate offices men see women as a thing who could warm up either their eyes or their bed and Staring is practised as if the person who could open his eyes for the most would be awarded.
What if your own sister or mother or anybody was a victim of this stare.
It would lead to all sirens blazing inside the body and mind.

No doubt a man's success is dependent on his woman and it is she who supports him mentally, physically, socially, financially. Still patriarch mindsets, desperate mentalities are doing their job efficiently of killing a woman's soul.

70-80% of all rape cases reported in our country are mostly done by those individuals who are so desperate to interact with a woman. So desperate that they wouldn't agree to the fact that they themselves are losers and it is because of their own bizarre minds that no girl would even talk to them.

Believe it or not women in India despite getting reservations and despite being given the resources to voice their grievances will always be considered inferior

Those who still not agree, let's agree to disagree.

A Letter

Writhing in agony and holding back flames that threaten to barge in through my eyes anytime, I write this letter to you sincerely hoping that you wouldn't consign yourself with the same fate as mine. I will be no more after I usher you into this world and this letter will be your mother's voice once you have grown up enough to understand and obey.
I never tried to understand ; never tried to obey and this is what life has come to. Being my daughter, I am almost sure that you wouldn't listen to me and would rather prefer to taking the path of your own calling. Yet being almost sure that the path of my daughter would be the same as mine, I will make a valiant attempt to show you that mine was a lost cause.
Equality is a myth. There is nothing called equality. All those talks of male female equality sounded very good on paper and in feminist discussion panels but it was when I was raped that I realised how unrealistic they were.
I came to realise this when I was raped by the one who was your father.
It is cruel of me to have let you in on this story so early which everybody else would do anything to hide it from you.
It was late when I realised that its a cruel, cruel world out there but your father was the least cruel of all your mother had to negotiate with.
The police officers who suggested marriage, my own parents who sanctioned it without even asking me, and the society which pushed me through. All these are nothing but small ripples created by the cruelty humanity can impose.
I am sure I will be giving birth to a daughter and I am sure it would be she who is reading it and I want to say just one line for you

Dear daughter
For a woman the liberty to be a human being is an illusion and your mother has finally broken free of this illusion. I spent my whole life chasing an impossible dream and I beg you to never embark on that path.
This realisation of my life as an illusion didn't come when I was penetrated against  my will but when I was made to marry him.

You will be safe I am sure in the hands of that beast only if you dance to the tunes of the society and how society expects you to.
I beg you to give up thinking of equality. Don't ask for the right of being a human. Be content by staying a woman.
Don't strangle yourself with constant idea of being either  supressed or ignored because things are going to remain the same.
(The above letter was expected to be read by the daughter some day but the women had a son. When the son grew up he found this letter amidst the  yellow pages of his mother's incomplete diary. He wrote a reply to his mother's letter at the back of the letter)

Equality is not a myth. It might have been so till now but it will soon become a reality, until when my soul would refuse to be at peace. Male-female equality is not an impossible dream.
Trust your son mother when he says that he will chase the idea of a beautiful world and tell people that right to being a human being is as much of a woman's as much as a man's. And your endeavors mother were not futile.

Happy 2 Years Modi Government

A completion of the 2 years of the much hyped Modi Government that is the flag bearer of the Acche Din Campaign has achieved a lot in a short time frame and has slapped shut opponents who are busy in keeping themselves pre-occupied by sitting idle or by checking each others memes on the internet but the well hyped modi government is more interested in the concept of FDI and economic growth rather than crucial indiactors like disaster management and sustainable development. The National Management Disaster Authority of India is a much hyped organization so much so that when you say their abbreviation one is greeted with, What is that? and weirder face expressions. The similar expressions are those of the officials of the NMDA when they hear about the disaster. Most NMDA officials are like “we only supplement the state’s efforts” like thank you so much for that too. If asked about the efficient working most of them are like “Jo upar se paisa aata hai woh aur kaamon ke liye utilize ho jaate hai  (national disaster response fund is utilized for other purposes than for those as stated in the GOI guidelines). *slow claps for that excuse*.  It’s surprising to know that India lacks a national disaster mitigation fund, the fire departments aren’t under the NMDA and what is needed is the states must supplement NMDA’s work and not the other way round. The Home secretary or the NMDA secretary must attain moral responsibility and face the dark situation like an adult and paying visits to disaster hit area is not at all necessary like c’mon those people are in need of help and not in any mood to cater to VIP tourism.
In times like these a tweet fetches more results and a higher degree of response than the cry of a man in need. Like imagine one of the ministers of the cabinet attempts swimming but fails miserably. Should he tweet from beneath the water #HomeMinister  urgent help needed I am drowning. Sympathies with the drowning minister.
Talking about sustainable development India ranks 110 out of 143, Phew just 33 short. Our respectable PM at the UN said “Nations have a national responsibility for sustainable development, They also need policy space.” Mr. Prime minister you are not in a bad relationship with the country because of which you need space. You are the head of the state. Imposing wouldn’t help but execution of the imposed would do just fine.
The Rain water harvesting mandatory clause is only effective in some states. We Indians are attracted by the idea of someone paying us money for a work which requires no efforts and doing a thing such as a yearly or monthly incentive to the house which does rain water harvesting with flexible support and distribution of knowledge is a double thumbs up.

"UP government planted 5 crore saplings in a day."

Seems as if a child who was once deprived of candies gets his mouth filled with the entire candy store.
According to UN reports a country needs 33% forest cover to meet its demands but India has only 21% approx which too is diminishing at a great rate thanks to no check being kept on mining and quarrying and several other excavations being led. We have flunked our deadlines of proper checks being imposed what is needed is the problems must be dealt with an iron hand.
Imagine anyone suffering from a life threatening disease, he would be panic stricken to the core that he might even be willing to die in the waiting queues outside a doctor who MAY treat him. A similar panic or tension is needed to get the ball rolling.
